For many people, sexuality and intimacy are important themes in their lives. Questions and concerns about this are therefore completely normal. It is not obvious for everyone to talk about sexuality. This does not always make the step to the assistance easy. Together we work around your questions, fears and concerns. I therefore try to create a safe space where your story is central. Authenticity, empathy and openness are key concepts for me during the sessions. In an introductory meeting we try to get a clear picture of your request for help. After this we find out how to deal with these worries, fears and/or uncertainties and how to get moving. With conversations and home assignments we try to gain insight into certain thoughts, feelings and patterns that you or your partner(s) encounter.

Background

After my education as a secondary school teacher, I wanted to delve further into sexuality and relationships. Coaching and guidance quickly became my passion. After graduating as a master sexologist at KU Leuven in Belgium, I started working as a sexologist and psychotherapist in Antwerp. I am currently developing into an IV psychotherapist. Interactional Design is a form of therapy with a systemic basis, in which creative and body-oriented elements can also be discussed. This way I can work out a tailor-made trajectory with you, in which we approach your request for help from different perspectives.
