The wonderful thing about a love relationship is that it involves two grown people who did not meet each other by chance. They have come together to sort out personal pieces. During the journey of the relationship, estrangement between the two can become palpable. Because both are hit unconsciously and/or unintentionally. From the true love and devotion for each other I support you and restore the mutual connection. My approach is characterized by gentle and careful listening, combined with a thorough examination of your relationship dynamics. I eagerly use a whiteboard, on which the pressing points and sources in someone’s life become visible. Together we investigate which sources of change are potentially present.

Background

After the HBO Social Work course, I did the System Therapy course. After that I worked at the Treatment Clinic for Married Couples at GGZ Beilen, where the ideas of systemic therapy based on attachment theory were central. At the moment I work as a system therapist at a mental health institution that offers specialist youth care. I mainly devote myself to the relationship that parents have with themselves.
