Mediation in divorce - Practice Love

Practice Love now provides divorce mediation for couples. Couples who have made the decision to divorce and want to settle it carefully and completely themselves. The mediator supports where necessary and gives you practical tips during this process.

Mediation as a solution in divorce? The process of divorce is a turbulent time, where many emotions and practical issues come together. Especially if a child or children are involved. Mediator Melissa Molenschot takes you through this process and ensures that all parties get the support they need. With a special eye for the children, who are her great motivation in her work.

What do we arrange in divorce mediation?

Because Melissa has a legal background, she will help you settle the business side, such as the alimony calculation. But also in drafting a divorce covenant and (new) parenting plan. Or very practically, the arrangements you have to make for vacations. All in a way that both of you can support and feel positive about.

Divorce mediation at home or in practice

Our mediator is not tied to any of our locations and is happy to come to your home or any place you choose. If you prefer to meet in a neutral setting, there is always the option to do so at one of our practice locations. So feel free to make an appointment to get acquainted or to see what the options are. Or if you are in doubt and still have questions.

Personal approach and confidentiality are key

At Practice Love, we understand that each divorce mediation is unique and has its own challenges. Therefore, we offer a personalized approach where confidentiality and respect are paramount. Melissa Molenschot provides a safe environment during your divorce mediation in which you can communicate openly about your wishes and concerns. She helps keep the dialogue going even when emotions run high. The goal is to come to agreements that are acceptable to both parties, always ensuring the well-being of any children. This personal and involved approach during divorce mediation allows you to start a new phase in life with a positive feeling, with clear agreements that form the basis for the future.

How does it work?

A safe setting is important. Therefore, we first have an introductory meeting where we see if there is a mutual “click. It’s nice if you both feel comfortable discussing your desires and doubts freely. Nothing is crazy, everyone is different and there are many ways relationships can work well again. After the no-obligation introduction, we begin counseling with an intake interview.

During all of our divorce mediation sessions, we focus on making relationships stronger and passing on healthy patterns to our children and the next generation.
