Maxime Reinke, Relationship therapist Amsterdam Center
Humans are social beings and relationships are at the core of our existence. The relationship we have with a partner, friend, family or colleague directly affects how we behave, what we believe in and most importantly, how we feel. If the connection in your relationship is lacking and important needs are not being met, it can have a great impact on your state of mind and well-being. Making the decision to work on this together is an important first step and a starting point toward clarity, depth and growth.
In the sessions, I look at who you are, both as individuals and as a couple, and we explore what you need individually and together. Together we explore patterns within your relationship and the need for help. By getting this clear, we create space for insights, love and understanding. In addition to identifying where improvement is possible, we look at the positive and powerful aspects of your relationship or family.
By providing a warm, open and open-minded atmosphere, I create a safe environment where you both feel seen and heard. From my positive attitude and practical nature, I provide concrete tools that you can work with now, as well as in the future. I pay attention to cultural background, the various forms that relationships and families can take but also the desired position of sexuality and intimacy within your relationship.
Background
I have a background in psychology. Within the healthcare sector and various international organizations, I gained my coaching skills and developed mediation skills. I believe that as a human being you are never out of learning. My approach is human, engaging and concrete with room for humor and lightheartedness. Sessions can take place in Dutch, English or Spanish or a mix of these.
