Relationships are valuable environments in which both families and partners are given the space to connect. During conversations, I aim to listen and engage in dialogue without judgment to explore where recovery is possible and reconnect from your heart and emotions. Self-experience is always central to my treatment, with you as an individual or couple setting the pace. You found each other and entered into a relationship together. What patterns, communication styles and interactions can be explored and seen so you can recover together, including with your children. What influences can you experience from adjacent generations and begin to understand them. It is a beautiful process with different challenges, in which I stand beside you to clarify that. In a warm and familiar way, I try to create space so you can reflect to yourself, your relationship and your family by touching the emotions where things are flowing with difficulty. My style is honest, empathetic and authentic, with a touch of lightness, depth and humor. First and foremost is who you are, and the emotional experience is essential. Together we look at the context so we can understand the mutual influences and why things are going the way they are.
For over 21 years, I have counseled families and children within the mental health and Child & Youth field. I have a wide range of experiences, which allows me to use multiple forms during our conversations. I believe that the problems you encounter are not isolated, but are connected to the context you are in and how you deal with them together.
