It takes courage (and love) to acknowledge that you are stuck. Guts to look at yourself in relation to that other and your part in those repeating patterns.

During the period when a relationship is chafing and you don’t know how to move forward, couples therapy can provide insight and help find new openings. High emotions, meanings of prior events and ingrained patterns often block the way out of the impasse.
It takes courage (and love) to acknowledge that you are stuck. Guts to look at yourself in relation to that other and your part in those repeating patterns. The problem is not you or the other person, but what has led to destructive patterns, frustration and distance in your relationship.
Background
For many years I worked within the mental health system in families, with adults (couples therapy) and children and adolescents. Looking from the relationship perspective. I did my specialized training as a systemic therapist in Antwerp at the Interaction Academy. In addition, I am a trained mindfulness trainer.
I am going for a sincere meeting with you. For the story and meanings from the past history, which are still influential in daily life. In agreement with you, we get to the core quickly and find space for new possibilities. I often use humor or playful methods, such as drawing or physical exercises.
More is possible than you think if you dare to make the connection. I would love to see you for an introduction, the first step to improvement.
Before you make an appointment, we always recommend a free, no-obligation meeting to see if there is a click.
