Do you run into the same conflict every time? But are you no longer able to get out on your own? Is your relationship strained by an event? Are you in different stages as a couple or do you have different needs? Are you in a new relationship but stuck in patterns from previous relationships that are repeating themselves? And do you consider couples therapy
Relationship problems are very normal and can arise in any relationship. Discussing or seeing the patterns can be difficult. Relationship problems affect other areas of the relationship, making you increasingly distant from each other. You would like to work on it but how?
As a couples therapist, I create a safe atmosphere in the room by going into the conversation with an open mind, without judgment. As a couples therapist, I feel privileged to guide people in their process, towards greater insight into recognizing each other’s feelings, needs and fears in order to connect (again) with each other. I do this by offering you practical tools that you can start using independently outside the consulting room.
Background:
As a social worker, I had the opportunity to gain years of experience within families, where partner dynamics played an important role in helping children and adolescents. As a wife, mother, daughter, friend, counselor and all the other roles I am privileged to fulfill, it has become my driving force to break unhealthy patterns in individuals, couples and families as early as possible and offer help. By nature, I am calm, down to earth and work normalizing.
