Sanne Timmermans, sexologist & couples therapist
Sex, love, relationships, sexuality, and intimacy are topics that everyone encounters in their own unique way. The quality of our relationships affects our overall well-being, and therefore, they deserve the necessary attention, love, and warmth. Romantic relationships and sex are often closely intertwined. Sex is multifaceted and can be fun, exciting, and a source of connection—with yourself and/or with another. However, this is not always a given. Relationships and sex are aspects of life that need to be learned and are influenced by biological, psychological, and cultural factors, as well as personal experiences. Throughout life, there is always something to learn about sex, relationships, and oneself.
During the sessions, there is space to discuss all your sexual and relational questions and/or concerns with me. Together, we will explore outcomes that are fitting for you and/or your relationship, with the aim of creating a fulfilling sexual experience and relational well-being.
Background
After completing my degree in Applied Psychology, I pursued a Master’s in Sexology at KU Leuven, driven by my interest in sexuality. Additionally, I am currently training as a systemic therapist, which allows me to further deepen my understanding of relational dynamics. I apply the knowledge I have gained during these studies with great joy and dedication.
