Naomi Maas, Sexologist in Amsterdam
Love, emotions, and relationships – they can be beautiful and fulfilling, but also complex and sometimes confusing. Navigating relationships and sexuality can be a real challenge. Are you facing difficulties? You are welcome to come to me with any questions or concerns related to intimacy, sexuality, (gender) identity, and relationship dynamics. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on in your life. During our sessions, we’ll search for answers and meaningful solutions, so that you can reconnect fully with yourself and others. I believe in a client-centered and couple-oriented approach – there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all method. I’m genuinely curious about your unique experiences.
Have you had negative or unwanted experiences and now want to build more (self-)confidence in your relationships with others? I’m here for you. Talking about it is the first step in your healing process.
Do you find it difficult or scary to talk about these deeply personal topics? I understand. I’ll support and guide you at a pace and in a way that feels comfortable for you. Let’s start the conversation and break through insecurities, shame, and taboos together. I warmly welcome you.
Background
With an academic background in clinical neuropsychology and sexology, I have extensive experience discussing and exploring a wide range of questions, concerns, complaints, and issues with children, adults, and older individuals. My thesis research focused on topics such as consensual non-monogamy (including polyamory and open relationships) and experiences with minority stress. I strive for an inclusive and culturally sensitive approach, and with my open and positive attitude, I’m happy to support you in (re)discovering joy in your relational and sexual life.
