Founder & Systemic Therapist

The Founder

Joey Steur built the largest systemic therapy practice in the Netherlands — with 9 locations, a passionate team of therapists, and more than 10,000 couples guided. Her bestselling book "Uit je liefdesdip", published by De Bezige Bij, is changing the conversation around love in the Netherlands. She is currently writing her second book.

You may know her from Jinek, AD, NRC, RTL and dozens of other media outlets. But above all, she is a therapist and entrepreneur with a mission: to change the way the Netherlands looks at relationships. Warm, sharp, and with an unwavering belief that it can be better.

Our Team

All therapists at Praktijk de Liefde are NVRG-registered or in training under intensive supervision.
