Relationship therapy in Hilversum: our newest branch opened

On the Van Hengellaan 2 in Hilversum you will find the newest branch of Praktijk de Liefde from now on!

We have been in the heart of Amsterdam for some time, but are broadening our scope and now want to accompany couples and singles in other places. Young families, for example, spreading their wings and finding a place to live outside Amsterdam.

In the spacious attic in Hilversum (under the authentic ceiling beams), we provide systemic therapy to couples, families and singles on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. During therapy, we explore infertile patterns that have developed over time.

Whether the work will be different than in Amsterdam? Time will tell. Couples of all ages are welcome, as well as singles, expats, divorced partners and the families that have changed as a result.

Because relationships are all-encompassing. It’s not just about the relationship itself, it’s about everything associated with it. Life an sich, love and making choices. But also connection, generations, parents and families.

Relationship therapy for couples and singles

In therapy, for example, we reflect on the question: who am I now? And that question doesn’t just apply to couples. Even for singles, this line of questioning is valuable (and sometimes still a taboo subject) just before you start a new relationship. ‘Why do I need a partner? Is the picture complete or should a relationship add something?’ Discussion of these questions is important. Because either way, we are going to get attached again, and of course, we are also going to fall in love again.

Often we see in this the striving to be perfect. While it really is okay to live in tension sometimes. There is no right or wrong. It is normal to doubt, and sometimes we must learn to tolerate it.
