The goal of individual therapy from a systemic perspective is to gain deep insight into yourself, how you relate to relationships and the patterns that influence your relationships. Through these insights the underlying dynamics and behaviours become clear, enabling us to start an effective process of change. This process helps you to break negative patterns, but also enables you to be your authentic self.
This way you can build healthy and fulfilling relationships from your true self, both with others and with yourself.
We are the only practice in the Netherlands with such a strong specialisation in systemic therapy. You can start immediately with us, without a waiting list. Sessions are available during the day as well as in the evening.
In our individual therapy you are at the centre: your relationships, how you relate to others, and what truly matters to you in those connections. At Praktijk de Liefde we look together at deeper patterns, beliefs and emotions that may be preventing you from experiencing freedom and authenticity in your connections.
We search for the causes of what holds you back from being fully yourself and support you in finding insight and strength. By understanding and transforming these processes, you learn to stand stronger and more consciously in life. The therapy gives you the space to discover more fulfilment and harmony, both in your relationships with others and in the relationship with yourself. This way you can enter new connections from self-insight and confidence and enrich existing relationships.
At Praktijk de Liefde we guide you in this process. We focus on, for example:
The goal of therapy is to gain more insight into your relationship patterns. With this insight we set a process of change in motion, so that you can be who you are. We use a systemic approach: the focus on the whole system, such as the family or your close friends. Systemic therapy is evidence based; research shows that systemic therapy is effective.
After a no-obligation introduction we begin the guidance with an intake session. It is important that there is a mutual 'click', so that you feel safe to share your story, thoughts and emotions with the therapist. In the follow-up sessions we focus on:
Once we have mapped out these questions, five to eight sessions of 65 minutes each follow. After the intake we evaluate the process and decide together whether to continue with the therapy.
We recommend starting with a comprehensive intake session. In this conversation we gain a complete picture of your needs and specific requirements, and you can experience whether there is a good click with the therapist. This way we can precisely tailor the guidance to your goals and expectations. This intake is a valuable first step towards an in-depth, personalised approach.
After the intake, four to eight sessions are already sufficient for a lasting improvement of your relationship (a session lasts 60 minutes). We evaluate the process every four sessions and decide together whether to continue with the therapy. Sessions are available during the day as well as in the evening.
