Being single can be a choice that suits you, but sometimes it feels different. You feel lonely, you struggle to form a lasting relationship, or you notice that you keep falling into the same patterns. Perhaps you keep attracting the same type of partner, unconsciously sabotage chances for connection, or feel insecure about what you have to offer.
We are the only practice in the Netherlands with such a strong specialisation in systemic therapy. You can start with us immediately, without a waiting list. Sessions are available both during the day and in the evening.
Our guidance for singles focuses on addressing loneliness, insecurity and recurring patterns that prevent you from forming healthy relationships. Together, we look at what is holding you back and where you get stuck.
It is not just about finding a partner. It is about personal growth, building self-confidence and learning to form connections from your authentic self. We explore how your past, your family of origin and your attachment style influence how you relate to intimacy and connection today.
By gaining insight into these patterns, you can make conscious choices, strengthen your self-worth and face the world with more openness and resilience.
The goal of the guidance is to gain insight into the patterns that maintain your single status. We use a systemic approach: we look not only at you as an individual, but also at the influences from your environment, your family of origin and the dynamics in your previous relationships.
Systemic therapy is evidence based; research shows that this approach is effective in breaking recurring relationship patterns and strengthening your ability to form healthy connections.
After an informal introduction, we begin the guidance with an intake session. It is important that there is a mutual 'click', so that you feel safe sharing your story, thoughts and emotions with the therapist. In the follow-up sessions, we focus on:
Once we have mapped out these questions, five to eight sessions of 65 minutes each follow. The programme is flexible and is regularly evaluated. After the intake, we decide together whether and how to continue with the guidance.
We recommend starting with a comprehensive intake. In this session, we get a complete picture of your concerns and specific needs, and you can experience whether there is a good connection with the therapist. This way, we can tailor the guidance precisely to your goals and expectations.
There is no waiting list. Sessions are available both during the day and in the evening.
